A Guide To Champagne Blends

Champagne is a sparkling wine which often is seen as a social status as it can be more expensive than the other variations of wine available on the market in today’s world. The main region that this is made is in the city of Champagne in France (hence the name) but can be purchased everywhere in the world as they produce millions of litres of it each year and export it worldwide.

Many people don’t realise but there is a strict law when it comes to champagne because they think it’s the term used to describe a quality sparkling wine but in fact it is based on origin too.

There are many different variations of the champagne blend and consists of certain grapes giving it the perfect characteristics that is required for a quality wine. One thing that is truly unique about this drink is the burst of bubble you experience when it hits the dry glass or initially opened.

There are two main types of bottles of champagne, the standard and the magnum size. The latter is said to be of higher quality simply because there is far less oxygen inside the bottle making it purer and easier to drink.
