A Guide To Indian Wine

India has become well known in the wine industry and has begun to produce mass amounts of wine ready to be exported to various countries that require them. One of the main reasons to why Indian wines are high quality is down to the climate, India can offer the ultimate conditions to keep the vineyards alive and healthy making it easier to grow the grapes without the use of pesticides. By not using these pesticides it means that the wine will be more organic making them better for you.

The white wine variety is mainly made from the Chardonnay grape mixed with certain other grapes making a perfect blend. They call this wine Chhabri, it is very famous across all of India and is the most popular wine to be exported. The red wine is made from mainly the Cabernet Sauvignon and is called Anarkali, it is very similar to the some of the red wines produced by France.

People say that India has been growing vineyards for thousands of years so they have had time to perfect their traditional blend, if you are interested in trying it you will no doubt be able to find it in your local restaurants.
